If a fabric is coated in a similar nano structure as that found on the
surface of a mouses whisker it could be used to create a similar dampening
effect. Once applied this would have an anti turbulance feature reducing
the speed wobble or drag on the object - making it possible for an
aeroplane to fly with an increased velocity or for a garment to hold its
shape against wind resisatnce and drag.
